personality: outgoing, gregarious, playful, loyal, optimistic (yet pragmatic). outward confidence — hungry for validation, insecure, overcompensates. can be talked into most things, can often talk his way out of them. needs to fix your problems, their problems, mutants' problems; every problem. despite all this, overthinks to the point of neuroticism.

history: born & raised on long island, NY. upper-middle class family, only child. bobby's powers manifested as a teen when he encased a bully in ice — his parents soon shipped him off to xavier's, claiming it would be good for him despite his pointing out that it's an UNPROVEN, EXPERIMENTAL SCHOOL???. he and they all knew it was because their lives would be easier without the press of having a mutant in their house. he's been trying to chase their validation ever since, becoming an advocate for mutants' rights and never shying away from a public appearance or interview. (he texts every positive piece of press to his parents, the most he gets back is a 👍.)
